Yummy!! The older man that helped us was so kind! We got the grilled pork and pork belly banh mis, and a lychee fruit tea. We went while it was slow, so there was a lot of open seats.

Banh Mi has mastered delicious simplicity! The five spice chicken sandwich was the perfect balance of flavor and freshness. Every ingredient worked well and I especially appreciated the moistness of the chicken, crispness of the veges and the soft and crunchy bread..the perfect sandwich! Sandwich was filling and a steal at $9.95. Family owned and operated with very friendly and patient customer service. I will definitely be retuning!

Really good banh mi in the sunset! One thing I don't love about banh mi's is how the bread will cup the roof of my mouth. Banh mi crunch's bread doesn't do that! Very reasonable pricing and I love their staff. Very nice uncle running the front of the store and he's always so nice and welcoming. Pro tip: call in your order so you don't have to wait long!

The shop is small but clean and welcoming :). The person who took our order was very nice and it feels like everyone who works here are family so that's cool! I got the Banh Mi Crunch Combo and my husband got the chicken garlic noodles. We would come again :) it's hard to come by a good banh mi shop and this satisfied my craving! Vietnamese coffee was good too btw

What an amazing addition to Irving Street! Tldr: 10/10 recommend!!! Service: We called in to order and the process was very easy. The worker who took the order over the phone also processed our order upon arrival. He was very nice! Ambience: very simple; if you come with a group of folks, would probably be easier to takeout since all the seating is benched (as shown in the image; additional seating on the other side that looks exactly the same with around the same number of seats). Food: absolutely delicious!! we got the lemongrass and grilled pork (forgot to photo) - both of which were soo amazing. The bun is toasted and soft on the inside. The proportion of pate and veggies were perfect and the meat was extremely tender and flavorful. They were also very generous in the meat portion. For the price, one of the best I've had in SF! Garlic noodles were also delicious! The only thing that I didn't absolutely love was the chicken on the plate which was flavorful but slightly dry imo even with the dressing. Drinks: thr vietnamese iced coffee was sooo good!!! I read a review here that it was too sweet but we found ours to be a lot less sweet than other ones we've had. It had a very strong coffee flavor. I typically like all my drinks especially vietnamese iced coffee on the sweeter side but despite this being more coffee-forward, I really enjoyed it. My partner who doesn't like drinks that are too sweet also really enjoyed. If you order over the phone, they will prepare your food but wait until you pick up to prepare the drinks (so the ice is nice and not melted).

Hubs been wanting to check this place out and we finally got a chance. I always go with the combo. Hubs ordered the lemongrass beef. We always go halfsies so we get to try different things. The bread was toasty and soft inside - didn't crumble apart after taking a bite. Both sandwiches were good. Full of veggies. As I mentioned, my go to is the combo as it usually has the best of everything. However, I have to say that I liked the lemongrass beef one more. It was full of beef and had good flavor. I'd order that one again. Yum!

I came here to grab some food for a picnic in Golden Gate Park. The interior is what you'd expect from a basic sandwich spot, with countertop seating and cups for water. I ordered the Crunch Combo and the Lemongrass Beef banh mi. They have a promotion where if you buy five banh mi, you get a free Grilled Pork banh mi. It costs $2 to add pate, and I was tempted to do it for my beef sandwich, but with that price, I decided not to. It took about 10-15 minutes to get my order, which seemed reasonable given they had a good mix of in-person and online orders coming in. Both sandwiches had the usual banh mi toppings--pickled radish and carrots, cucumber, a generous amount of mayo (more than most places, but not overdone), and a nice crunchy bread crust. They were a good size to finish on your own. Crunch Combo (4.5/5): had a good amount of pate, more than other places I've tried, with actual chunks of it. It made the sandwich a bit saltier than usual, but it really enhanced the flavor. There was also a solid portion of sliced meats inside. Lemongrass Beef (4/5): had a decent amount of meat, but it wasn't as strongly flavored as I expected. Still, it was a good option if you prefer a less salty sandwich. Overall, I think this is a great spot for banh mi! I'm not sure if it's the best I've had, but it's definitely in my top 3. We even considered buying more to bring home after our picnic!
